Console Commands

Axis Selection

• n axis     Set the active axis. n = 0, 1, 2

Axis Configuration

• show     Display the configuration settings for the active axis
• save     Write the configuration for the active axis to non-volatile memory
• f nonBlocking     Set motion commands for the active axis to be either blocking or non-blocking
• n accel     Set the acceleration slope for the active axis.
• n maxSpeed     Set the maximum speed for the active axis.
• n decel     Set the deceleration slope for the active axis.
• n msSettle     Set the settling time, in milliseconds, for the active axis.
• f units     Set the motion command/position display units for the active axis to degrees or steps (f = 0/1)
• f noLimits     Enable/disable (f = 0/1) travel limits for the active axis.
• n lowTravelLimit     Set the minimum allowable position for the active axis
• n highTravelLimit     Set the maximum allowable position for the active axis
• n microSteps     Set stepper motor microstepping for the active axis (n = 200,400,800,1600,3200)
• n stepsPayload360     Set the number of steps for a 360 degree revolution of the payload for the active axis
• n brakeType     Set the brake type (none,passive,active f = 0,1,2) for the active axis
• f reverse     Set the rotation convention for the active axis

Controller Board Configuration

• f master     Select master/slave (f = 1/0) role for the connected board
• n currentLimit     Set the motor current limit from .5A to 3.0A (n = 0 to 10)

Motion Control

• n step     Relative move. Move the active axis n units in the signed direction
• n stepTo     Absolute move. Move to absolute position n units
• home     Move the active axis to absolute position 0
• homeAll     Move both axes to absolute position 0
• hLim hInc vLim vInc quick wait demo     Do a dual-axis test sequence
• f on     Turn active axis motor on in the direction specified by f
• off     Turn active axis motor off
