Motion Control

These commands only apply to axes 0 (horizontal) and 1 (vertical) and are sent via the system console USB port.

• n step
  • Relative move
  • Move the active axis n units from the current position, n is +/-32767
  • Move in degrees or steps, based on CProfile::units
  • The active axis moves n units, n is +/-32767, the sign specifies the direction
  • Movement is limited by CProfile::highTravelLimit and CProfile::lowTravelLimit if CProfile::noLimits is false
  • Motion profile is defined by CProfile::accel, CProfile::maxSpeed, and CProfile::decel
  • Calls C++ function CStepper::step(int n)

  • Absolute move
  • Move the active axis to absolute position n units, n is +/-32767
  • Calls C++ function CStepper::stepTo(int n)

  • Move the active axis to absolute position 0
  • Defined as 0 stepTo

  • Move both axes to absolute position 0

  • A motion sequence suitable for driving a 1 or 2 axis test

  • Parameters:

    hLim	is horizontal axis limit in active units (degrees or steps)
    hInc	is horizontal axis increment for each test reading in active units (degrees or steps)
    vLim	is vertical axis limit in active units (degrees or steps)
    vInc	is vertical axis increment for each test reading in active units (degrees or steps)
    quick	= 1: Axes reverse direction after reaching their respective limits (quicker test time)
    wait	= 1: Systems waits for command line input after each move

  • Turn active axis motor on in direction specified by f

  • Parameters:

    f	1: move in positive direction, 0: move in negative direction

  • Turn active axis motor off
